OTTAWA - John Baird, Member of Parliament for the riding of Ottawa West-Nepean, will be hosting a Town Hall meeting on Thursday, June 15 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Ukranian Church Hall on Byron Avenue.

Constituents, organizations, community groups, charities, businesses and local stakeholders are invited to attend this interactive and informative Town Hall meeting to discuss how the government's Federal Accountability Act will affect them. The legislation tackles a broad range of issues and will forever change the way business is done in Ottawa. In his role as President of the Treasury Board, Mr. Baird introduced the Act in the House of Commons, making it the first major piece of legislation brought forward by Canada's new Government.
